Wow its been a while

Thurlow Dam

Me and Andy went down to Thurlow Dam in Tallasee last night to get some sunset shots. Well that didn't work out. The sun was on the other side of the dam and i couldn't get a damn (yes that was a pun) vantage point. But I got some interesting HDR shot and some others. Flickr link below as usual.

Beach Times

Smokey asperations

So me and Andy had our weekly communications meeting last night. And we both love photography and now have some awesome cameras to work with. So we got to thinking about some creative things we could do. I personally am in love with macro shots. The details lost in the blur of life the small things overlooked. So we played around with this new flashlight i got (LED lightsaber). And started taking some awkward light shots. faces in sharp relief campfire story style. And then we attempted to add smoke to the pics but couldn't for the life of us get all the settings right. Needless to say I tried the night before to do some creative shots I cleverly dubbed "Vanilla Smoke". Just trying to capture a vanilla coke shrouded in smoke. But I will post the pics and you guys can see what you think. Comments please, suggestions, anything!
